Our research into CMS platform usage within English local authorities was well received. We decided to do the same for UK central government departments, agencies & public bodies.

Three content management systems dominate the central government landscape:
Increasingly central government departments are moving their publishing onto gov.uk, a custom publishing platform developed by Government Digital Services (GDS). We expect to see more central government departments migrate to the Gov.uk platform over the next 12 months.
